Some folks are givers and others are takers. I have given my life to puppy care after being told by our vet, Dr Stephen Jackson, that our quarantined pups were the only pups in our county to survive a parvovirus pandemic in 1982. We have given many free pups to cancer kids and elderly adults. Dr. Jackson encouraged us to raise quarantined puppies, also organized our local humane society, served as a humane and health dept officer for his entire life, while volunteering as a contactable reference on our website for 35 yrs. He is a giver, a wonderful vet, and master chemist who kept raw materials to mix many of his drugs so they were fresh & readily available. We continue to use some of those wormers and meds per Dr Jackson’s formulas. This is why you did not recognize some meds and thought they were spoiled. Our care standard here is advanced and apparently beyond your comprehension. Did you know that the ivermectin you call poisonous is the base ingredient in heartworm preventative? That flea/tick topical & rose bush insect sprays can be the same? Yes, using Dr Jackson’s formulas we mix some meds. Did you know that the wormers you claim are poisonous when used together are readily available already blended from the vet pharmacy? It is called Fentel. A good vet who loves dogs & neighbors more than money is my hero. What a shame it is to have an incompetent veterinary person like you, who has spent a lifetime unfairly raping pet owners for money, say people shouldn’t buy a puppy if they can’t afford $7K for parvo treatments. Did you know that our current vet uses the same meds & will keep a sick puppy an entire week for $750.00 instead of your $7K? Did you know that vaccines can be safely given at 5 wks IF tither levels of the mothers are enhanced? This has allowed us to do 3 vaccines & parvo immunity before the puppies go home. You even failed to correctly count to 5. I guess your bad attitude is because you make no money w/ a healthy puppy. All dogs (& humans) are asymptomatic carriers of protozoa & don’t shed cysts as long as the immune system blocks reproduction. Your pup & his littermates had a clean fecal smear here, and the coccidia was probably caused by your stupidity in double vaccinating your puppy after the vaccine had already been done. I always tell clients to choose another vet that deals fairly when they encounter an incompetent caregiver like you. Because baby puppies play in their food & stain themselves, it is impossible to remove all staining from some coats before haircuts. Your puppy had a bath w/ whitening shampoo 2x that morning before you picked him up. If we had cut the hair you would be mad about that too. The pups in the cart may have tinkled & shared after their baths, but we try not to use perfumes on pups because some buyers are violently allergic to smells and even to some puppy shampoos. It is common for pups to get car sick on way home and vomit. A few will inhale fluids and develop respiratory issues. Many people have complained that they can’t get a vet appointment for 2+ weeks. Our vets think sending an (if needed) antibiotic is okay so our buyers don’t get charged $2000.00 at emergency vets. It’s sad that you love money more than people and puppies. Did you know that we were probably the only breeder in your search results that raises puppies? That probably every other seller is a puppy mill reseller or a deposit scammer? When you attack and put all breeders out of business, then where will puppies come from? Home breeder adults are common in shelters after being evicted for bleeding and marking. Yep, as your political prejudice informed me, you didn’t come to make friends. You didn’t read our material or ask questions. We don't polish and filter reviews, nor do we spend all our time asking for positive reviews. Although political hecklers make sure reviews from people like you are the first thing people see in search results, we have averaged only 1 negative review per 1500 families sold over 44 years. Some of the negative reviews are 30 years old. You are public enemy no 1 of everyone who loves a dog. You need counseling. Get off those sad commercials and quit believing their lies. We licensed, inspected at the same property for 44 years. Our nursery & care program here is supervised by two senior vets with 100 years experience. I recently referred someone facing a $10,500.00 surgery because her dog swallowed a fishhook to our vet. He fed it loaf bred, caused it to vomit up the fishhook, and charged the girl $25.00. Yes, my wife was cleaning the kitty litter box. We are guilty of the cat smell, but she does work hard to control that. If you love cats, do not allow Heather near your pet!
