We do not actively solicit reviews. No legitimate business can have 100% positive reviews because not all people are mentally healthy and some can't remember or follow instructions. No negative reviews is the easiest way to identify a scam website. While others reinvent themselves to eliminate negative reviews, our reviews are honest and unpolished. 90% of those who leave reviews are angry people who blame us for acts of God, their lack of common sense, or failure to remember/follow instructions. Very few happy people will take time to leave a positive review. We have averaged about 1 negative review per 1500 families sold over the past 44 years, which is best in puppies. Dr. Nash is our first choice for veterinary care the way it used to be.  Now 80 years old, he is a wonderful human being and one of the very best common sense veterinary doctors. A Few Emails And Reviews. Only fake websites have better reviews than us! 

A brief lesson in pet politics is important to understanding reviews and public perceptions of issues. The rescue industry of our country is about making free money in doing as little work as possible. They will stop at nothing to tug on your heart strings and convince you to send money to save the animals. See those sad commercials on TV and realize that in most cases, only 1% of those donations go to pet shelters. Rescued dogs are dumped at the public shelters for Animal Control to care for while they beg public for money to help them.

However, the most corrupt part of the story is making you feel sorry for dogs kept by breeders while making you believe that all puppies should be born in human homes, and that you should adopt a puppy at the shelter instead of buying a puppy. When you get to the shelter they always have a good selection of large mostly pit bull mixes, NOT the small hypoallergenic puppy that grandma wants for her lap dog, and not everyone can afford the extreme vet bills that are more likely to occur in shelter or pet owner puppies. Also, when you get online to search for a puppy, 95% of the independent puppy for sale ads are scammers soliciting deposits for puppies that don't exist. Almost all puppies online are being sold by brokers who have never even seen the puppy parents and know nothing about the puppy. 

Breeding a house dog can be one of the most tragic mistakes that pet owners can make. Reproductive behaviors in dogs not spayed/neutered at the proper time are the number one reason that house dogs are evicted to shelters. It can also be a huge mistake to buy a puppy from a home breeder because most of those puppies have already had the opportunity to pee in a floor that is similar to the floor of your home, and may be confused/harder to house train. Also, human homes allow people and dogs in and out with no quarantine, and puppies kept in these environments are much more likely to be accidentally exposed to viruses brought in by careless humans before the 3rd vaccine is done. We love you and your puppy, so we have spent millions to prevent heartbreak and vet bills. Our nursery is as nice as most public boarding kennels, and all surfaces are made of metal, contrete, and plastics that can be sterilized twice daily. We have sold puppies on this property since 1982. We are very proud of our puppy nursery. N C Farm Bureau will no longer allow us to take public into the nursery itself due to insurance regulations, but with our newly installed security system we are able to show you the nursery LIVE from the camera system. We may be the only seller in your google search that didn't buy your puppy from an out of state puppy farm that you cannot visit in person.

Having sold puppies to thousands of families over the past 44 years, with only 20 negative reviews, we have far better honest reviews than any other seller. Some of these reviews are 30 years old, and were caused by inexperienced vets, vaccine reactions in puppies before we learned about tither levels to prevent them, and handling stress. Vaccine reactions can cause sickness or death in puppies with weak immune systems, just as covid shots caused extreme problems in humans. Many vets do not recognize problems caused by vaccine reactions and tell the puppy buyer that the breeder is responsible for the giardia bloom, respiratory issue, temporary heart murmur, etc. No one can care for living things without incident. We also have reviews left by pretend buyer rescue hecklers seeking rescue industry cash rewards for helping locate breeders to target and shut down, plus 4 reviews left by one family:)

We do not spend time asking for reviews. We do not filter reviews, fabricate reviews, use reputation management software, or reinvent our business so the reviews go away. A very low percentage of happy people will leave a positive review, but a very high percentage of people will leave a negative review. You will learn much about issues and trust us more if you read our RESPONSES to those 20 reviews. A few puppy buyers make poor decisions in caring for their puppy, create problems for their puppy, and then blame their vet or breeder.  Puppies are subject to the same health issues that we consider normal in human children. Most issues are caused by environmental irritations and poor choices in using treats, food, and pet products that can cause problems. The difference is that many people blame everything that happens to their puppy on their breeder or vet, but they will not hold fast food, doctor, or hospital responsible for the same issues that occur in their children. If human health care was held to the same standard as pet health care, every hospital in our country would soon be shut down. I have had many calls from angry dog owners who blamed the best vets I have ever known for killing their dogs. People call me angry at their groomer, their boarding kennel, etc. Every person who deals with public must deal with people who will turn against them due to misconceptions, no common sense, and bad attitudes. No one can deal with public without negative reviews.  Because vets and pet owners make mistakes and blame others, and because tiny puppies are fragile and must be cared for perfectly, a puppy seller or website that has no NEGATIVE reviews is a scammer with FAKE reviews!  

Have you ever wondered why so many rescue people stage stories on television, post fabricated negative reviews online,  and create false blogs under anonymous screen names in social media (some even pretend to have visited or bought pets) to convince you that HealthyPups, AND all other kennels are a puppy mill?  Why do "humane societies" and rescue organizations attack breeders through media and brainwashed disciples, begging for your money to save the "abused and sick animals from inhumane conditions",  instead of soliciting legislators to enact tougher spay/neuter laws? Tougher laws could prevent so many of these unwanted large breed mixes from being born. They know that very few of those wanting house pets would adopt a large breed mix even if small breeds were not available from professional breeders. Is it possible that someone wants your money? Who is it that is really guilty of extreme animal exploitation? Only 1% of the money collected by the rescue industry goes to shelters.  Attention BIG RECUE, please use the millions  per year in donations you are collecting from those sad commercials and kennel raids to spay and neuter America's dogs and cats instead of putting 99% of it in your pocket.....PROBLEM SOLVED!

It is sad that 90% of those who will take time to leave reviews are angry misinformed political hecklers.  Most happy people won't take the time to review. Public doesn't realize that no one can deal with people and living things without incident because much of science is a scam that disagrees with reality, and living things are fragile and subject to proper care after going home. Those who believe in science are often angry because of the DNA testing scam, which is accurate only if their puppy comes from the same marker group as the DNA test marker itself. Many purebred dogs will not have an agreeable DNA test, and no dog with diverse genetics so as to allow for good health, intelligence, and good personality is likely to get a matching DNA result.

We have repeatedly seen littermate siblings test as having no ancestors in common. When you read reviews of established repeat sellers that do not contain complaints of viruses, DNA mismatch, or parasites, and "genetic" diseases, you know you are being scammed by a seller with fake reviews generated by reputation management software or cleansing companies. All of these issues are often blamed on breeders by inexperienced vets who have vaccinated puppies too small and too young that caused giardia blooms, heart murmurs, or a vaccine-induced virus. Poor choices in foods and commercial doggie treats can result in puppies quickly developing diseases that vets most often diagnose as genetic issues.  Again, politically bias rescue hecklers, science junkies, or kids who failed to read our material and follow instructions are likely to leave negative reviews.
