PURCHASE INSTRUCTIONS and Visitor Guidelines- to protect our buyers during Covid, our pets from human bourne infections brought by visitors, and to reduce unexpected veterinary expenses for puppy buyers, we raise our puppies in strict quarantine. You may spend endless hours watching our puppy videos if you wish, and by requesting additional facetime, google duo, or other live video with any puppy if needed. Due to the risks of Covid 19 exposure for humans, we began to show the puppies electronically with visitors picking them up curbside. The results of this have been wonderful for the puppies. Coronavirus quarantine has taught us that most of the puppy respiratory and other viruses we have experienced in past years have been brought by kids with runny noses petting the puppies.   To protect our pets and their future owners from these issues, we have decided to continue virtual visits only, and show the puppies through live video.  Visitors may play with/touch only the puppy that's going home with them. Personality is not an issue with a properly bred dog. Purebred dogs linebred for show purposes often have unbalanced personalities. ALL mixes have wonderful personalities and are very sweet after they have adapted to a new home, so you are likely to love the personality of any mix. If you knew what we have learned during covid quarantine, you would not want to buy a puppy from a seller who allows visitors to come "see" the puppies, because you can't be sure that the family who visited the puppy before you didn't bring a virus that could send you to the emergency vet next week. 

We are normally open for curbside puppy pickups 6 days per week, and we do assist with deliveries! Our normal business hours are 10am til 4pm six days per week with closed days posted in our plan a visit link, but we are willing to work beyond these hours when there is no conflict with pre-planned and family events. If you have sent a deposit to be on our waiting list- we call every depositor simultaneously when new pups are posted, and you will be allowed to view pups through website/facetime/duo/video when they are old enough, and choose.  We offer curbside puppy pickup in our driveway, possible ground to door delivery, and air shipping with flight nannies, with balance due at pickup/go home date.  Cost of local area courier is $1.00/round trip mile (150 mile limit)!

Fraud has become a big problem in our nation today for both buyer and seller. Someone recently did a credit card chargeback after buying one of our puppies, telling their financial institution that I sold them a $2500.00 guitar and refused to ship it.  All of their money was returned to their account, giving them their puppy for free.  Another buyer recently commented that the last 12 sellers he contacted to buy a puppy from turned out to be scams.  We often receieve at least 10 calls per week from puppy buyers who have already been scammed out of thousands by someone pretending to have puppies for sale. We at Healthypups have real puppies for sale that we raise in our nursery, not Amish puppies being brokered/resold for profit like most of our online competitors, and we provide credible references. If you want to buy this pet without sending a deposit, and no risk of being scammed (or financial obligation whatsoever), you may call to schedule a facetime, etc, with this puppy if you wish, and come to pick it up in our driveway BY APPOINTMENT ONLY- AND without having sent a deposit.  However, if you choose to not send a deposit, you risk that someone may buy the puppy before you get here.

For payment of Deposits- we accept CASH, PAYPAL, PERSONAL CHECKS, and US POSTAL MONEY ORDERS.  A deposit reserves the puppy of your choosing until its go home date.  Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be moved to another puppy if the pet you have chosen is not ready for pickup at the agreed time.   You can Express Mail (U. S. Postal Service-no signature required) a $200.00 DEPOSIT by personal check or money order to Healthy Pups, 3707 White Plains Rd, Roaring River, NC 28669.  Please call with specific questions and to let us know you are doing this, and we will hold the pup pending receipt of your deposit. If you want to place a non-refundable deposit through PAYPAL, go to paypal.com to create or log into your account.  Select send money to FRIENDS AND FAMILY (so you don't have to repay the fees that paypal charges us), and transfer $200.00 to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Under the dollar amount box there is a link that says add a note. Please put your contact info in this box, including your name, address, email address, mobile telephone number for immediate reply, AND the breed plus puppy number of the existing pet you wish to reserve. You may also send a $200.00 deposit to be on the waiting list if you want us to call you when a specific puppy becomes available.  All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, but may be moved to another puppy if the pet you have chosen is not ready for pickup at the agreed time.  

For payment of Balance- Because we, too, have been scammed out of thousands by dishonest people doing disputes and fraudulent chargebacks in preconceived scams to steal puppies from us,  we accept cash only at point of sale. You may also buy your puppy with a personal check, official bank check, or money order, but these must be sent by mail in advance, and be deposited in our account before you pick up your puppy. We no longer accept paypal, credit or debit cards, or any other form of electronic payment  because of fraud.  I'm sorry if you think this is inconvenient.  We are an honest business.  We will treat you fairly, but we must also protect ourselves from the scammers.  Thanks for choosing Healthy Pups!  Again, please call with any questions!  (336) 957-3609
